Trip to Africa

I was excited hearing we were heading to an adventure in Africa and was being told about the many wilds and wonders we would experience. We got there by truck, and I was strapped in for safety.


When we arrived we were greeted by many amazing creatures. The big ones were a little scary at 1st, but soon I found they were just big ole pussycats.



I was served some delightful treats of Africa ...Strawberries, Grapes and some wonderful stuff called banana bread.

After my trip to Africa, and enjoying some ice-cream, I was taken outside with my people and we sat out under the stars. It was amazing. Before this, the dark had always been cold, and in a box .. this dark was outside, and open and beautiful.

As I was staring up towards what they called The Big Dipper, I saw a grand streak of light across the sky. I was amazed. They called it a shooting star! I hope to see more in the future!



P.S. The ice-cream was from McDonalds and *OH* was it good!

I learned to cook!

Today I had the adventure of learning to make Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. These are a quick, and easy meal that can be cooked up anytime!

1 - Take 2 slices of bread, and butter one side of each.

2 - Put a pan on the stove, set to medium temperature, that will fit your bread. Be sure you have adult supervision if you are too young to use the stove.

3 - Place 1 slice of bread, butter down, into the pan, and then place 1 or 2 slices of cheese. American is the preferred, but use any cheese you like. Then place the 2nd slice of bread on top of the cheese, butter side up.

3 1/2 - At this point it was suggested to sprinkle garlic powder lightly

I had to find it first; it turned out to be
an excellent suggestion!

4 - let one side get "toasted" brown and then flip with a spatula ( or any utensil that will flip your sandwhich easily. *** warning *** never ever get distracted and step away from the stove for even a second. Grilled Cheeses burn very fast and easy if not watched.

5 - ENJOY! Be careful not to burn your fingers on dripping cheese!

OK, so in this case its Petunias, which smell just as lovely! It's important we take time out of our days to enjoy the wonders of the world. Flowers, family, friends ... whatever gives you a moment of happiness in our busy hectic lives.

Maybe I shouldn't have been so adventurous last night .. Capt and Jack took advantage of me! I don't really remember much.



I stumbled around a bit.



I remember not feeling so good .....

Hi !!

It's me!
Dollaman!

I just got to the house and man am I stiff! They pulled me out of this crate, paid the garage sale Lady $1.00, and I rode around in the car for a while. Then they took me into their house and then stuck me here.

It's not such a bad place except I have a metal rod holding me up and I'm not laying down any more, I'm hanging out of the wine cooler thingie.
